Every morning, I love reading the daily headlines from Ad Age. My favorite part (not surprisingly) is usually the Small Agency post. Ad Age has assembled an array of ad execs who write a column once or twice a month. These columns are always full of advice, ideas, innovation or inspiration. One post especially stuck with me and I wanted to share it with you all. On June 22nd, Bart Cleveland, Partner and Creative Director of McKee Wallwork Cleveland, wrote It’s a Crazy Time, so Let’s Get Crazy. Bart references Apple’s Think Different commercial and tells readers to think about each line of the commercial. I did that (and have done it many times since). Each time, I’m truly inspired. The phrases push me to be better and to do the most that I can for our clients, our company, and in my own life. For example, instead of sleeping a little longer each morning, my boyfriend and I have started a new running regimen. It’s not easy, but I know that after the run is over I feel great for the rest of the day.

In our industry, it’s a challenge to stay inspired. The AdAge Small Agency posts inspire me. I’d like to open the floor (or blogosphere) to that which you find inspirational as well. And if you were curious, here’s each line of Apple’s Think Different commercial.

Think Different
Here’s to the crazy ones.
The misfits.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.
They’re not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them. Disagree with them.
Glorify, or vilify them.
About the only thing you can’t do, is ignore them.
Because, they change things.
They push the human race forward.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to change the world,
Are the ones who do.
