We Like To Be Square

Slab Serif fonts are inspired by typewriter lettering. There are so many variations of the slab serif and the font publisher, The Northern Block, has debuted a new unique font in this genre. The font, Hapna, was created as an alternative to the standard geometric slab fonts. Hapna is a blend of a contemporary font and a traditional slab serif like Rockwell or ITC American Typewriter Std. It carries a lighthearted, modern and somewhat retro-vibe, while holding on to its traditional roots. The font family is available as a web font and desktop font, has open type features and is available in 6 weights. This font has a bit more personality than the traditional slab serif and we can’t wait to break it out.
