With the conclusion of the 2012 Olympic games, many of us have moved along in our thoughts with regards to the games. While the Olympics only last two weeks every four years, behind the scenes there is constantly something going on to prepare for the upcoming games. The 2016 Olympics will be hosted by Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Brazilian design agency Tátil Design de Ideias was commissioned to create the 2016 logo. They have launched a video unveiling the logo design and how it was created. The video offers viewers a cool and unique look at the planning stages and different design implementations that went into the developing the final 2016 Olympic mark. In the video the agency members get really specific about the ideas behind the concept and why certain imagery and fonts were used. The logo design is really cool. But what makes it wonderful is how vibrantly it reflects the compassion, enthusiasm and pride of the talented Brazilians that created it. Check it out!
